Since 1919, the award-winning C Lazy U luxury guest ranch has been celebrated around the world for its rich history, rustic elegance, legendary cuisine and signature 5-Spur Service.

Guests of the ranch are accustomed to fine dining and a large selection of wines. C Lazy U's Executive Chef and culinary team work each day to create delicious and diverse options. The ranch always caters to dietary sections and dinner service is complemented with the perfect wine pairing.

Breakfast is made-to-order at your leisure in the Main Lodge and lunches are served outside in the warmer months at the Patio House. Dinners are served family style, creating an inviting, warm atmosphere in the 1947 log lodge dining room. Breathtaking views of the meadow filled with the ranch’s herd of 200+ horses, Trail Mountain, Willow Creek and the Continental Divide serve as a picture-perfect backdrop for every meal.

C Lazy U Ranch is open year-round and caters to a wide range of retreats and events including smaller executive retreats with 5-10 people to groups as large as 75 that reserve the ranch exclusively.  Inclusive rates and packages are available for simplicity.  

Weddings

We can cater for groups of 75-100.

Wedding parties can book the ranch exclusively during certain months of the year.  Most weddings are done in the spring and fall outside of the summer family season along.  The ranch also hosts numerous winter weddings.

What to consider

  • While the children's program does not allow for parents and kids to ride together most of the week, it does allow for children to learn their horsemanship skills without the pressure they might feel if parents were present. Friday morning is a family ride and there are vast additional opportunities for family time. Fly-fishing lessons, guided hiking, mountain biking, archery, tennis lessons and more, making time spent together completely up to you

The Best of the West

This is without a doubt the best of the West! You can't get better than C Lazy U the Staff the Food and of course the beauty that surrounds you at every turn. The Horseback riding experience alone was worth the trip! This is an amazing experience for 6 year olds to 99! We went sledding, horseback riding, saw a Mama Moose and baby while we were on horseback. Ice skating and of course 5 star dining experience.
