It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of Miles Badger, a cherished friend, colleague and an invaluable member of our team since the inception of our first site, Top50 Ranches in 2010.
Miles was the visionary behind the digital face of our businesses: Top50 Ranches, Ranchweb, Wellness Ranches, The World’s Best Fly Fishing Vacations, Luxury Ranch Real Estate and more.
We will be forever thankful for his incredible technical expertise, crafting stunning and functional websites that seamlessly integrated into the very essence of what we offer.
Miles, right and his brother Nathan
From the very beginning, Miles quietly and diligently worked behind the scenes, ensuring our online presence remained robust, accessible and ever-evolving.
His patience and kindness were legendary, always willing to lend a hand and explain complex technical concepts with clarity and grace.
And sometimes keeping it nice and simple, with an amusing but definitive ’No’.
Miles was absolutely fundamental and instrumental in the success of our online ventures, and his contributions will forever be deeply appreciated.
Miles loved a good steak and a fine bottle of wine, his annual skiing holiday and traveling. He had a marvelously eccentric English sense of humor, too.
Known as "An all-round great guy”, he's also remembered fondly by his brother as: "A remarkable man, brother and uncle. We spoke to each other every day about our business and our plans to run a ski chalet once we retired, and were strolling off into the sunset."
We do already and always will deeply miss Miles' quiet strength, his unwavering support and his exceptional talent.
But as is so Miles, his dedication, thoroughness and thoughtfulness meant he has left us with a super team that will carry on his tradition of excellence. Thank you, Miles.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Miles had a deep love for birds and wildlife, and his family have chosen a local animal welfare centre, Cuan Wildlife Rescue to support on behalf of him.
