September and October are months not to be missed at Red Horse Mountain Ranch. The foothills of the Rockies are beginning to turn spectacular shades of red and yellow, and chorused by our nearby elk herd and local campfire cowboys, you’ll be blessed with the simple hospitality of a premier Idaho ranch.
Our Wine Tasting Weeks not only invite you to explore over 30 regional wines, but you can embrace the full schedule of ranch activities, too: horseback riding, kayaking, archery, sporting clays, the challenge course and many other exciting outdoor pursuits are also available at the ranch.
Requested by our returning guests, Wine Tasting Weeks are perfect for singles, couples and groups of friends, and each evening the lodge will be filled with conversation and a festive atmosphere while you enjoy wines from the Pacific Northwest, chosen by our chefs.
As the night progresses, be delighted with chef-prepared meals, enjoy our evening entertainment programs or just sit back and relax – why not soak in the hot tub under the stars? When the evening winds down, you’ll be ready to retire to your private suites, thoughtfully furnished with European bedding, down comforters, and rustic appeal.
Red Horse Mountain also provides plenty of opportunity for simple R&R. Enjoy a massage from our licensed massage therapist, curl up with a book in our library, or simply sit on the deck overlooking the ranch.
