Interesting tidbit about the ranch owners or staff:In the 11 years our family has visited this ranch (no other vacation place have we been so consistent), I've observed both Dean and Karen personally ensuring their guests were treated like family, each doing this at times when I knew they were feeling under the weather. They never missed a step. That is pride in their job and their business!
What makes this riding program stand out?Great horses matched well to their riders. Also the country you ride through is beautiful and varied, so there's no such thing as a boring ride.
What about this ranch brings guests back?Dean and Karen interview their summer college help very well. I observed every year how guests really enjoyed the service by these college kids, and it usually ended in email and contact info exchanges at the end of the stay. Choosing young people that really represent the ranch well is very key, and Dean and Karen have done this very well consistently over the years.
Another bit of information you'd like Top50 to know:Choosing great staff who really care about their guests' experience is huge - all the best properties know this already, but focus on this one thing can cover any "stuff happens" events during a visit.

Interesting tidbit about the ranch owners or staff:When after a week my two kids said that it was better than a week at Disney World you, know that Karen and Dean are doing something right. The staff were just outstanding in every possible way.
What makes this riding program stand out?Great riding program - my children and wife always felt safe - plus good horses.
What about this ranch brings guests back?From the minute you arrive, Karen and Dean treat you like family.
Another bit of information you'd like Top50 to know:Go on a diet before you go! The food is to die for - I ran every day and climbed a 14-er while we were there, but I thought they would have to roll me back to the east coast. I couldn't put my fork down!
