The Bar W Guest Ranch offers year round adventure to accommodate all of our guests. Each season is unique in its offerings.
Ranch vacations to The Bar W Guest Ranch
Winter: Incredible skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, dog sledding, cross country skiing, sleigh rides, ice fishing, skating and horseback riding in our indoor arena.
Spring: Several of our specialty packages are offered in May. They are Adults’ Only Week, Spring Cattle Drive and Cowgirl Up Week. All are very unique and allow our guests to admire the beautiful spring setting. Also included are all the same activities that we offer in the summer months.
Summer: The most picturesque scenery you will ever encounter. Horseback riding in the mountains, over the foothills and across the open prairies of Montana Big Sky Country.
In addition to horseback riding, there is plenty for all ages to do and discover at the Bar W. Guests are invited to explore the entire property - watch our trainers work the horses, help with the chores (if you like, of course), fish for big pike on Spencer Lake, hike the miles and miles of trails, mountain bike, swim in the lake, throw horseshoes, play badminton, volleyball, or a leisurely game of pool.
You can even test your archery skills or try your hand at breaking some clay pigeons. All this and more is what you can expect from a ranch vacation at the Bar W.
Fall: Back by popular demand are our specialty weeks. We offer Fall Cattle Drive, Cowgirl Up, Adults’ Only and Photography week. We also offer the same activities as in the summer but the fall foliage is spectacular and should not be missed.
